A truck driver has died after his vehicle hit a tree in Goolgowi, about 50 kilometres northwest of Griffith.
Emergency service crews were called to Cahills Road, near Higgins Lane, at about 4 pm yesterday (29 November).
When they arrived, police discovered a prime mover which had left the roadway and crashed into a tree.
It’s believed the crash occurred sometime earlier in the afternoon.
The driver of the truck, a man believed to be aged in his 60s, died at the scene.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
