Man dies following single-vehicle crash near Temora

A man has been unable to be revived following a single-vehicle crash north of Wagga Wagga.

Emergency services were called to Burley Griffin Way at Temora just after 8:30 pm (Tuesday, 8 November) following reports a vehicle had left the road and hit a tree.

An off-duty police officer, who had been travelling on the same road shortly after, had stopped to help the man before NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived on scene.

Despite efforts to revive him, the man died at the scene.

While he is yet to be formally identified, he’s believed to be a 36-year-old man.

An investigation has begun into the circumstances surrounding the crash, with a report to be prepared for the coroner.
