Man dies in single-vehicle crash at Collendina

A man died when his vehicle crashed into a tree in Collendina over the weekend.

Police said emergency services were called to Spring Drive, Collendina, about 15 km west of Corowa, following reports of a crash at about 11:15 am on Saturday (17 February).

Murray River Police District officers attended and located a vehicle that had left the roadway and crashed into a tree.

The male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.

A crime scene was established as police investigate the incident’s circumstances.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
