About Anna Maskus

Anna grew up on her family’s fourth-generation rice farm near Leeton, NSW, and now lives on a grazing property on the edge of Lake Hume near Albury. She will graduate from Charles Sturt University in Wagga in 2022 with a Bachelor of Agricultural Science.

Anna’s favourite things include oat milk iced lattes, putting chilli flakes on literally everything she cooks, and listening to her favourite band The 1975, or Leigh Sales and Annabelle Crabb’s podcast Chat 10 Looks 3.

Although she managed to study completely the wrong degree, Anna has wanted to be a journalist since she was a little girl. In an ideal world, she’d be living in London with an abundance of Nigella cookbooks. For now, when she’s not writing, Anna can be found at the cinema or smashing a pub feed with her friends in Wagga.
