There’s plenty to do for all ages in the Riverina this long weekend.

Head to The Rocky Regional Observatory and marvel at the wonderous night sky.

Catch any of the screenings of Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse, The Little Mermaid, Sweet As or the Boogeyman this week.

Head over to the Parkside Cottage Museum and take a stroll back in time at the timber cottage.

Oasis Aquatic Centre is showcasing radio-controlled model ships, while Tumut River Brewing is hosting brewery tours.

Head to Junee Licorice Factory to browse the markets or get along to Griffith for Sunday Blues at Piccolo Family Farm.

Wagga Wagga Veterans and Vintage Motor Club is inviting everyone to a general public viewing of the vintage vehicles on display.

Vinnies is inviting families of all backgrounds and cultures to a free playgroup for children under five at the PCYC Wagga.

There are many films to watch at the cinema in the coming week. Miles Morales returns in Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse. Disney’s live action The Little Mermaid is still going strong. Also screening at the cinema, Sweet As, the Australian film, follows an Indigenous teenager who discovers photography during a youth trip in Western Australia. For all you horror/thriller lovers don’t miss the supernatural horror film Boogeyman.

Head to the historic museum in Narrandera and explore the old timber cottage and its eclectic collections.

Cost: Spectator fee of $2 applies.

Calling all model ship enthusiasts. Radio-controlled scale model ships are on show at the Oasis Aquatic Centre in Wagga. Everyone is invited to the 17th annual ‘Carrier and Escorts’ exhibition over the long weekend.

Riverina beer lovers can head to Tumut over the long weekend to taste the region’s finest beers. Tumut River Brewing gives you the opportunity to see, smell and taste craft beer during its manufacturing process.

Junee markets at the Licorice Factory have something for everyone with toys for the young, homemade preserves – sweet and sour for the adults, soaps, candles, jewellery, knitted products and more.

Spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon at the Piccolo Family Farm and enjoy great blues music. Bring your chair and a picnic rug to enjoy the great food and open bar. No BYO.

Vintage motor vehicle enthusiasts have something to get excited about. Wagga Wagga Veterans and Vintage Motor Club is inviting everyone to a general public viewing of the vintage vehicles on display. Food and refreshments will be available on the day. A barbecue will be provided by Yarrangundry RFS.
