There are plenty of things to do around the Riverina this week.

It’s a big week at Forum 6 with the opening of the French Film Festival with the screening of Masquerade, Belle and Sebastien: The New Generation and Two Tickets to Greece.

The Temora Hotel is hosting a Bastille Day Dinner with live music by Tom Henderson.

The Festival of W will come to an end this Sunday, be sure to check out the light show.

Aaron Oldaker and his one-man rock band will be performing around Wagga this week.

Head to Narrandera to explore the historic cottage museum this weekend with the children and head to the Lions Club Community Markets at Marie Bashir Park.

Last-minute school holiday activities include painting workshops at Griffith Regional Art Gallery, umbrella art at Coolamon Shire Library and a fun day with different sporting activities at PCYC Wagga Wagga.

Forum 6 is launching the French Film Festival this week with the screening of Masquerade, a film about lust, money and manipulation of very rich people on the French Riviera. The opening weekend will have the screening of Belle and Sebastien: The New Generation, which follows 10-year-old Sebastien, who reluctantly spends his vacation in the mountains with his aunt and grandmother. Olivia Cote, Kristin Scott Thomas and Laure Calamy star in the wildly entertaining comedy Two Tickets to Greece. Forum 6 is also screening Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Joy Ride, Insidious: The Red Door, Elemental, Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Cats in the Museum, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts and No Hard Feelings.

Everyone’s favourite and self-described “blue-collar tradie musician”, Aaron Oldaker, will be performing at various locations around the town this week, starting at the Riverina Hotel on Friday 14 July, and at the Union Hotel Wagga on Saturday 15 July from 9:30 pm.

The Temora Hotel will host a three-course French-themed menu in celebration of Bastille Day. There will be live music by Tom Henderson on the night. Book your tickets for a top night out.

Cost: Tickets for ice skating are $16 for adults, $12 child (2-14 yrs) and family $50, and can be purchased here.

Don’t miss the final weekend of Festival of W. Sunday will be the last day for you to enjoy the lights and ice skating.
