Police appeal for public help to track down man wanted over outstanding warrant

Murrumbidgee police are appealing for public help to find a 41-year-old man wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Police say Jack Unuwia’s outstanding warrant relates to armed with intent and violence offences.

Officers from Murrumbidgee Police District have commenced inquiries into his whereabouts and have so far been unable to locate him.

Police say Jack is known to frequent the Leeton and surrounding areas.

They are advising members of the public who see Jack not to approach him, but to call triple zero immediately.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call Griffith police on (02) 6969 4299, or contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via the website. Information is treated confidentially.

Police also reminded people not to report information via NSW Police social media pages.
