There are plenty of things to do and places to visit around the Riverina this week.

Check out Circus Rio this weekend at the Wagga Wagga Showground.

Forum 6 has two new releases this weekend: Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga and The Strangers: Chapter 1.

The post-apocalyptic action adventure and fifth instalment in the Mad Max franchise Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, starring Anya Taylor-Joy as Furiosa and Chris Hemsworth as Dr Demetus, is the origin story of renegade warrior Furiosa before her encounter and team-up with Mad Max.

The Strangers: Chapter 1 is the third film in the The Strangers horror film series. It is about a young couple who are forced to spend the night in a remote cabin after their car breaks down in an eerie small town.

Also showing this week is the live-action animated fantasy comedy IF, directed by John Krasinski, Golda, starring Helen Mirren as Gold Meir, the new instalment of Planet of the Apes, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, the horror film Tarot, the whacky action-comedy Boy Kills World, and The Fall Guy, starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.

The world-class Australian and international performers of The Circus Rio Spectacular are back in the Riverina for a showstopper. Check out the aerialists’ dance in the sky on aerial silks and straps, jugglers showcasing dexterous agility and much more.

Open Studio Sessions – Let’s Collaborate

The Griffith Regional Art Gallery invites local artists to its courtyard for a collaborative art space. Finish your artwork or project you haven’t been able to finish at home with other artists for encouragement and inspiration. Bring your artwork, projects, equipment and materials. Bookings for an easel are available through registration.
