Even though the school holidays are soon coming to an end there are still plenty of ways to keep the kids busy and entertained.

Head to Vortex Entertainment to try out the bumper cars, high ropes, obstacle courses and more.

Get along to the hidden gem, Altina Wildlife Park and go on a ‘zoo-fari’ or go to the Griffith Pioneer Park Museum any time of the week and explore the region’s history.

Market lovers are reminded Griffith Rotary Market and the Riverina Producers Market are back on.

Have a scary night out with the kids and take them to Old Gundagai Gaol for the Kids Ghost Hunt.

Check out the historical war aircraft at the Temora Aviation Museum with the whole family.

There are two new releases at Forum 6 this week: Iron Claw and The Jungle Bunch World Tour.

The Jungle Bunch World Tour follows the lives of the jungle animals whose homes get invaded by a strange pink foam as the rainy season approaches.

Cost: Tickets are $12 children one to six, $22 student and adult, $190 Vortex Club 10 sessions, $80 four climbers, and can be purchased at Vortex Entertainment. Entry is free for non-participating adults.

Darlington Point’s hidden gem, Altina Wildlife Park, offers ‘zoo-faris’ with an Australian twist. Meet the animals up close and personal with your guide while travelling in style on your horse-drawn or motorised cart.

Temora Aviation Museum Aircraft Showcase

When: Every day, 10 am – 4 pm
Where: Temora Aviation Museum
Cost: Adults $20, over 65 $15, children $10, family of four $50, and can be purchased at TAM.

Take the children to the Temora Aviation Museum to see its collection of aircraft, learn about the role they played in Australia’s military history and remember the efforts of the men and women who flew the aircraft during conflict.

Griffith Pioneer Park Museum

Free School Holiday Movie – Babe

When: Friday 19 January, 10 am to noon
Where: Junee Athenium Theatre, Broadway Junee
Cost: Free.

Junee Athenium Theatre is showing a free screening of the classic film Babe which follows an orphaned pig that learns to herd sheep.

No bookings required. Movie snacks available.

Old Gundagai Gaol – Kids Ghost Hunt

Cost: $20 kids (eight to 16 years), $25 adults 16+ (must be accompanied by a child) and $60 family package (two kids, two adults) and can be purchased at Humanitix.
