If you’re driving past this beautiful red-brick home at 15 Lindsay Street, there’s every chance you’ll look twice. The cottage residence situated within the highly sought-after suburb of Turvey Park, is a beautiful place to make home for those trying to get as close to central Wagga without being there.

With three bedrooms, all with built-in robes, and a sprawling garden out back, it’s a property that appeals to every creature’s comfort.

PRD Wagga Wagga licensed agent Bee Anderson loves the open space on offer.

“Lindsay Street is probably one of my favourites in Turvey Park, and you would never guess that behind this beautiful facade is an incredible big open space that connects the kitchen and living area to the garden.

“There’s also a pretty flexible floorplan. Most of your bedrooms are to the front of the house, but you’ve also got an added extra living space in the office area towards the back. So you could potentially open up the living area even further.”

Since the back of the property is north facing, there’s plenty of natural light flooding the kitchen and living area.

And for those concerned about insulating against the wild Wagga weather, its walls are mostly double brick so the house remains cool with ducted air conditioning in the summer and warm through ducted floor heating in the winter.

Thankfully nothing is subject to council approval, and on top of the backyard garden, there’s an outdoor undercover entertainment area and two sheds ready for extra storage or for use as workshops or man caves.

A carport is also accessible through the front driveway.

Ms Anderson said there were many properties sold in Turvey Park over the past year.

“A lot of homes at the moment are people buying them as is and flipping them by doing extensions. It’s also really hot for first time home buyers or those downsizing.

“You’ve got so many schools around and a main road either side of Lindsay Street, which take you directly to the CBD of Wagga.

“It’s really a prime location, with the showgrounds, a shopping centre and everything else you could want nearby.”
