Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a crash that killed two people in Corowa on Tuesday (12 September).
Police said emergency services were called to Redlands Road, Corowa, following reports of a crash about 7:40 pm.
Officers attached to Murray River Police District arrived at the scene to find a Ford Falcon and Holden Commodore had reportedly collided before the Ford crashed into a tree.
The female passenger of the Ford was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics but died at the scene, while the Ford driver, an 18-year-old man, was freed from the vehicle, but died on the way to Albury Base Hospital.
The Holden driver, an 18-year-old man, was uninjured and taken to Corowa Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from the Crash Investigation Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
