The Raiders return to Wagga for their clash against the Dolphins and are understandably the biggest ticket item for this weekend, but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing else to see and do across the Riverina.
Starting on Friday, the Falling Leaf Festival in Tumut is bound to put on a gorgeous display of what makes the town beautiful, while on Sunday Junee is set to host its brilliant show’n’shine featuring cars that are almost 90 years old.
If music is your thing, there are shows at Wagga’s Civic Theatre celebrating International Jazz Day with Live Local Original, while Coolamon has its own show on Sunday afternoon with Orch’N’Cart.
For a more relaxing change of pace be sure to check out Christopher Whyte’s Anthropocene – A Toy Story at the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery or the Live Well workshops in Narrandera.

Christopher Whyte’s Anthropocene puts a spotlight on throwaway culture by challenging viewers to rethink their relationship with the environment and the things they throw away. A thought-provoking commentary on consumerism, consumption and the habits of a wasteful society, Anthropocene is a very interesting exhibit that will leave you with a lot of questions.

Live music, local arts and crafts, produce markets, workshops, street parades, live theatre and comedy and more, the Falling Leaf Festival is the best way to see all that Tumut has to offer in one weekend.

The hottest ticket of the weekend, the Canberra Raiders return to Wagga Wagga for 2023 for their clash against the NRL’s newest team, the Dolphins. The round nine clash will see the Raiders look to even the ledger against the Dolphins after their round two defeat earlier this year. The Junee Show’N’Shine offers a bunch of unique cars from across several decades dating back to the 1930’s, each with their own rich history.
