A man has been taken to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital after his car crashed into a shop front.
Just before midday on Wednesday (21 June), a car smashed into the front brick pillar of the discount store Silly Solly’s on Berry Street.
The elderly driver is believed to have hit a car parked on the kerb, leaving the road and crashing into the brick wall.
Police said the driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital.
Paramedics also assessed a 73- year-old female passenger in the parked car. She had no injuries.
Police taped off the area and diverted traffic while two tow truck crews worked to remove both cars from the scene.
