There are three new releases at Forum 6 Cinemas this week.

Joker: Folie A Deux, starring Joaquin Phoenix, Lady Gaga, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener and Zazie Beetz is about Arthur Fleck who is institutionalised at Arkham awaiting trial for his crimes as Joker. While struggling with his dual identity, Arthur not only stumbles upon true love but also finds the music that’s always been inside him.

The Critic, starring Ian McKellen, Gemma Arterton, Mark Strong, Lesley Manville and Ben Barnes is about a powerful theatre critic in London who becomes involved in deceit and murder.

Never Let Go, starring Halle Berry, Percy Daggs IV, Anthony B Jenkins, Matthew Kevin Anderson and Christin Park is about a family haunted by an evil spirit for years but when one of the children questions if the spirit is real, the safety of the family’s surrounding comes into question.

A Country Weekend Rod Run Temora

When: Friday 4 October, 10 am to Monday 7 October
Where: Temora Greyhound Racing Club, Gallipoli Street Temora

Attention all car lovers of the Riverina. The Regency Rambler Rod and Custom Club Inc is spending a country weekend in Temora with over 100 cars.

There will be a welcome barbecue dinner, driving events, street cruise show and shine, rocker cover racing and kids activities.

Uranquinty Folk Festival

When: Friday 4 October, 6 pm to Monday 7 October, 10 pm
Where: Uranquinty Community Hall, Churches Plain Road, Uranquinty
Cost: Tickets can be purchased on-site and are $75 for the whole weekend | $60 for concession | $30 for a day | $15 for session dances | kids and camping are free.

The small, family-oriented music festival is set to have many great musical performances with a campfire, pub sessions, workshops, dances, blackboard sessions and more.

Albury Brick Muster LEGO Fan Event

When: Saturday 5 October to Sunday 6 October, 9 am to 4 pm
Where: St Patrick’s School Hall, 444 Kiewa Street, Albury
Cost: Tickets are $8 and can be purchased via Trybooking.

Check out Albury’s largest LEGO event long weekend. There will around 40 exhibitors filling over 60 tables with unique, custom-built displays, as well as a kids play zone and a fantastic assortment of retail vendors.

Music and Meditation

Where: Duke of Kent Community Centre, 26 Shaw Street, Wagga Wagga

The Music and Meditation Tour by Sahaja Yoga Meditation Australia is offering free concerts and guided meditation sessions in Wagga, Narrandera and Griffith.

The session in Narrandera will be on Friday 4 October at The Yard Cafe from noon to 2 pm.

The session in Griffith will be on Monday 7 October at the CWA Hall from 2 to 4 pm.

Spring Spritz Sessions
