The theatre has well and truly recovered from the difficult COVID years and has been able to announce perhaps its most impressive line-up of performers ever.

Here are five shows that will be among the highlights of 2024.

Daniel Champagne – Sunday, 4 February

The Australian singer, songwriter and guitarist performs upwards of 300 shows a year all around the world. He first picked up his instrument of choice as a five-year-old following in the footsteps of a musical father. The virtuoso will be showcasing music from his new album, ”The Pursuit”, as well as all his classics.

Paul Cosentino – Saturday, 10 February and Sunday, 11 February

The entertainer and magician will perform his new, 90-minute live show, ”Decennium”, which celebrates his decade in the business.

Cosentino first burst onto the scene when he was runner-up in the TV show Australia’s Got Talent.

He is known for stunts such as chaining himself 10 metres underwater and escaping, a trick that almost ended his life. The illusionist was originally only scheduled for one performance in Griffith (10 February) but as this is almost sold out, he’ll return for another show the next day. Tickets to the Sunday performance are already selling fast.

Dog Man The Musical – Wednesday, 6 March

A show for families with children, Dog Man The Musical is being performed at the Sydney Opera House in January. Dog Man has the head of a dog and the body of a policeman. He loves to fight crime and chew on the furniture. In this epic adventure, he battles against Flippy, the cyborg fish, and Petey, the world’s most evil cat.

The Tap Pack – Sunday, 2 June

Following soldout shows in London’s West End, at the Sydney Opera House and around the world, the Australian tap dance ensemble is finally coming to Griffith in 2024. The Tap Pack mixes slick humour, high-energy entertainment and world-class tap dancing. The show features songs from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr to Ed Sheeran, Michael Buble and Beyonce.

Kate Miller-Heidke – Saturday, 28 September

The award-winning singer-songwriter blends the worlds of folk, pop, opera and musical theatre. She has performed on stages at the New York Metropolitan Opera, the Eurovision Song Contest, the Sydney Opera House, and the Roebuck Bay Hotel, Broome. Kate will be playing her greatest hits and most beloved pop songs, as well as performing tracks from her original musicals, Muriel’s Wedding the Musical and the new Bananaland. She was originally scheduled to tour Griffith in February, but the visit has been delayed to September.
