A man missing from Wagga Wagga has been located safe and well.
Following inquiries and an appeal for public assistance by officers from the Riverina Police District, the man was located in Hammond Street Wagga Wagga, about 12.45am today (Thursday 23 June 2022).
Police would like to thank the media and public for their assistance.
Damien Deighton, aged 28, had last been seen in a car park on Peter Street, Wagga Wagga at about 8:45 am Monday (20 June 2022), but had not contacted family or friends.
He was reported missing around 10:15 pm on Tuesday.
Officers attached to Riverina Police District commenced inquiries to locate Damien amid concerns for his welfare as he has a medical condition, and this was out of character.
