Tennis anyone? A swim, or a round of billiards perhaps? There’s not much this stunning six-bedroom property at Lake Albert doesn’t offer. Photos: Webster Nolan Real Estate.

Another three-million-dollar property has hit the market in Wagga.

“Coonawarra”, located at 85 Plumpton Road in Lake Albert, will be auctioned by Webster Nolan Real Estate on 12 December at the Auction Works Rooms in Sydney.

Agent David Nolan said they had a price guide of $2.9 to $3.1 million on the luxurious offering.

“If I was looking to buy in Wagga I’d buy this in a heartbeat, it’s got everything you need,” he said.

The six-bedroom home sits on five acres and has an inground swimming pool, a tennis court, an aviary, vegetable garden beds and beautifully landscaped gardens.

The horse enthusiast will appreciate two fully fenced paddocks and stables.

There’s plenty of storage options for machinery and equipment with a double shed and double carport as well as a four-door shed. One workshop has a Molnar electric car hoist and power is connected to all areas.

Grand entry gates (electric and remote-controlled) welcome you to the property and well established trees provide shade and privacy. There are rose beds and hedging and lush green lawn space, ideal for a summer game of bocce or croquet.

“I think it’s a magnificent property, I really do,” said David.

“It’s incredibly well set up for living, for family and extended family.

“There’s a two-bedroom guest area which is part of the home. It has its own entry and is fully set up with a bathroom and kitchenette.

“It could be utilised in a variety of ways; if you weren’t saving it for visitors or family you could have it as a permanent rental or B and B-style accommodation.”

Outdoors you’d be forgiven for thinking you were at a resort. The tennis court enjoys a backdrop of well established native trees, the pool is lined with glass tiles and surrounded by sandstone pavers and there’s extensive outdoor lighting which can be controlled from indoors.

“The home itself is pretty special with the swimming pool, the tennis court and big open areas to entertain family and friends,” said David.

“It’s the complete package.”

The home office has an external entry door, features built-in cabinetry and provides suitable work from home space for four professionals.

A games/family room has plenty of room for the billiard table and includes a bar with its own sink, surround sound speakers and a floating timber floor. It opens out onto the main outside entertainment area.

“When you walk into this house you immediately think, ‘How good is this?’

“It’s not over the top, you’re not frightened to sit anywhere or anything like that – you know some places you’re not sure … it just works. It has been beautifully designed and is immaculate.

“All the rooms are big, they have wonderful dimensions.

“There’d have to be something wrong if you didn’t love this house.

“I reckon it’s great value. You’d never go and buy five acres and be able to go and do what they have done here,” said David.
