PRD Wagga has absorbed the long-established LJ Hooker Wagga Wagga to form a Riverina real estate powerhouse.

The acquisition of the real estate agency with 18 years of experience in the area comes with an impressive property portfolio including a significant rent roll.

But PRD Wagga Wagga director Simon Freemantle said the most valuable addition to come from the move was the LJ Hooker team including directors Robyn and Richard Rossiter.

“Robyn and Richard have been the stalwarts of the industry in our region for almost two decades,” he said.

“They’ve been the backbone, strength and character of LJ Hooker Wagga for the past 18 years and are the main reason we were interested in this acquisition.

“We’re excited for them to bring their strong reputation for providing excellent service to landlords and property owners to the PRD team.”

Mr Freemantle said the companies had “a lot of excellent synergies” in their culture and systems, and while it would enable them to improve the efficiency of their operations and their reach, it would also be a smooth transition.

“It’s a great fit all around. We’ve taken the best of each of our systems and processes, but many are the same, so it’s been a seamless changeover for tenancies and landlords,” he said.

“Clients should notice minimal disruption, if any.

“From an efficiency perspective, this acquisition means we can do more without having to increase the size of our footprint. We’re working out of the same office and have the same higher end management staff without having to expand part of the team. So it bolts on nicely.”

Mr Freemantle said PRD Wagga Wagga would continue to provide the same level of personalised attention and expertise that LJ Hooker Wagga’s clients had come to expect, but with a range of value-added services, including an inhouse marketing team and dedicated market research, strata and project development departments.

“We believe that our expansion will only strengthen our services, and we are confident that our clients will continue to be satisfied with the level of service that we provide,” Mr Freemantle said.

“We look forward to working with our new landlords and property owners and demonstrating our commitment to providing them with the best possible service.”
