A boy reported missing from the state’s south has been located safe
The 13-year-old boy was last seen Wagga Wagga at about 6pm on Tuesday 19 September 2023.
When he could not be located, officers from the Riverina Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.
Following inquiries, the teen was located in Gosford about 2:30pm today (Thursday 21 September 2023).
Police would like to thank the community and the media for their assistance.

Riverina Police District are appealing for public assistance to help locate a teenage boy missing from Wagga Wagga.
Police said Kobi Hughes, 13, was last seen in Wagga, at about 6 pm on Tuesday (19 September).
Officers attached to Riverina Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts when he could not be located.
Kobi’s family and police have concerns for the teenager’s welfare due to his age.
The 13-year-old is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 145 cm tall, of slim build, with short brown hair and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing a red hooded jumper and dark-coloured shorts.
He is known to frequent the Wagga Wagga and Gosford areas.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to call Wagga Wagga Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Information is treated in strict confidence. The public is reminded not to report information via NSW Police social media pages.
