Police searching for a man known to frequent Leeton and surrounding areas

Murrumbidgee Police District is appealing for public assistance to locate a man wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Michael Morton, aged 23, is wanted by virtue of an outstanding warrant regarding a breach of bail conditions.

Murrumbidgee Police District says Michael is known to frequent Leeton, Morundah and surrounding areas.

Officers from Murrumbidgee Police District have commenced inquiries into his whereabouts and have so far been unable to locate him.

Police have advised members of the public not to approach the man if seen, but to call Triple Zero (000) immediately. Anyone who may have information on Michael’s whereabouts is urged to call Griffith Police Station on (02) 6969 4299 or Crime stoppers on 1800 333 000.
