Police call for help after $315,000 in jewellery stolen from Gundagai antique store

Police are appealing for information following a break-and-enter at an antique store in the Riverina region.

Between 5:30 pm on Saturday (25 February) and 8:40 am Sunday (26 February), an antique store in Annie Pyers Drive, Gundagai, was broken into, with jewellery worth more than $315,000 allegedly stolen.

Riverina Police District officers were notified and began an investigation.

As inquiries continue, police urge anyone with information – including people who were in the area at the time and saw or heard anything suspicious – to contact Cootamundra Police, or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
