UPDATE: Police locate missing Wagga teen

Update: 12/01/23: A girl missing from the Wagga Wagga has been located safe and well.

The 15-year-old was last seen on Bedervale St, Bourkelands, about 9pm on Monday and officers from Riverina Police District were notified after she was unable to be located by family and friends.

Following inquiries, she was located in Wagga Wagga, about 10.30 pm last night (Wednesday 11 January 2023).

Police would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.

Wednesday 11/01/23: Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from Wagga Wagga.

15-year-old Roseanna Cairns-Brown, also known as Jay, was last seen on Bedervale St, Bourkelands, at about 9 pm on Monday (9 January).

After she was unable to be located by family and friends, officers from Riverina Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Family and police hold concerns for her welfare due to her age.

She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 155cm tall, of average build, with short red her, with black underneath.

Roseanna was last seen wearing a long dress, grey jumper and converse shoes.

She is known to frequent the Wagga library on Baylis St, Wagga Wagga and The Curious Rabbit Cafe, Johnston St, Wagga Wagga.

Anyone with information about Oliver’s whereabouts is urged to contact Wagga police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
