The Moon Festival honours harvest and reunion in many Asian cultures. Canberra Moon Festival (aka CMF) will present the concept of “One Community, One World, One Big Family” in this multicultural capital city.

Bianca Del Rio: Unsanitized

Bianca Del Rio is returning to Australia and New Zealand with her new comedy tour “Unsanitized”! Bianca Del Rio, otherwise known as Roy Haylock, is a dimple-cheeked, larger-than-life drag queen and outrageous comic who isn’t afraid to shock and offend. When it comes to insult comics, Bianca is in a class by herself.

Korea Day

The Korean community will host Korea Day to celebrate its biggest day at Glebe Park.

There will be a variety of Korean traditional performances, activities and experiences. Capture yourself dressed in traditional Korean dress. Taste sweet and savoury Korean food. Learn to make your own Kimchi. Listen to live music and performances. Meet people who live within this city and share the joy.

RocKwiz Live!

After a couple of years of COVID interrupted stops and starts, the RocKwiz Team are raring to go, excited to get back out on the road and perform for you.

Makers-Con at the Old Bus Depot Markets

The Makers Convention will unite stalls and attractions that showcase a range of hobbies with the high-quality handcrafts that visitors have come to expect. Attractions, demonstrations, and a cosplay competition will also be lined up. The ability is within each maker.

Floriade

Floriade will celebrate its 35th year in 2022, and for 30 days across September and October, Commonwealth Park in Canberra comes alive with beauty, colour and vibrancy.

The theme this year is the Sounds of Spring, and visitors will enjoy a vibrant display of over a million blooms set to a soundtrack of diverse live musical performances in an exciting program offering a range of activities, workshops, talks, food and wine, and entertainment.

Disenchanted: A Cabaret of Twisted Fairy Tales

When: 18 September

Cressida Campbell Exhibition

Cressida Campbell is among Australia’s most significant contemporary artists working with painting and printmaking. Directly inspired by her surroundings, for over 40 years the Gadigal/Sydney-based artist has transformed commonplace experiences from her life into single-edition prints and painted woodblocks.
