After a week of shivering indoors, it’s time to get out and make the most of the weekend. Whether it’s a winter warmer, Aussie art, theatre you can taste, pub rock or a movie filmed up the road – there’s plenty to see and do in Wagga.
Friday night heats up with Double Delicious back for its second show and Wagga’s own Darren Coggan will deliver a celebration of country legend John Denver.
On Saturday, you can stock up on fruit and vegetables at the Demonstration Gardens swap or buy, check out textile artist Jenny Bowker’s amazing quilts and, in the evening, take your pick from Star Wars trivia or head to the Duke to hear One Shot Too Many.
Sunday is a chance to take the kids to the Botanic Gardens where the miniature railway will be back in action and if you are up for a movie, Aussie drama Little Tornadoes was filmed in Tarcutta and is a hit with the critics.
