Nine things to do in the Riverina this week (27 October - 2 November)

The Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre will be having a busy week as they host some must-attend events this week. The world-famous Choir Boys kick it off on Saturday evening – rock enthusiasts would be crazy not to attend.

For those who enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere, the Civic Theatre also has you covered, with Dale Allison and Geoff Simpson hitting the balcony on Sunday. Kids will also get their choice of shows with Possum Magic starting on Thursday.

Ganmain will have a show of their own when the Riverina Comedy Club comes to town on Friday, while Junee has their annual show on Saturday.

The Curious Rabbit will be hosting their sinister Christmas/Halloween show with Krampus this weekend and Yanco’s miniature trains come out Sunday.

‘Swifties’ have been out in full force to witness the brilliantly filmed The Eras Tour concert and now due to popular demand, Forum 6 has added even more showings. So if you haven’t been or don’t want to witness Tay Tay on the big screen again, Forum 6 is the place to be. If Ms Swift isn’t your speed, Killers of the Flower Moon and The Creator are two of the best movies of the year and are worth a viewing. Meanwhile, with Halloween around the corner, Five Nights at Freddy’s may be the most popular horror movie of the year. Still showing is the legacy sequel to The Exorcist as well as the tenth instalment of the Saw franchise.

An Evening with Krampus

Santa’s sinister shadow Krampus wants you! Join the Curious Rabbit for The Green Beetle Company’s Halloween Cabaret Show followed by a spooky open mic. The night will be full of haunting music, scary stories and imaginative puppetry as Halloween and Christmas collide.

Choirboys: Run to Paradise – Wagga

Forming in 1978, The Choir Boys have been rocking out across the world for almost half a century! Now making their way to Wagga as part of their Run to Paradise Tour, the Australian rock and roll legends will be sure to put on a show for music lovers from all across the Riverina. Be sure to head to the theatre early for a fantastic food platter supplied by Knights Meats.

The 134th iteration of the Junee Show will be gracing the showgrounds this Saturday. The show will be offering a top lineup of entertainment, attractions and competitions, as well as live entertainment, food and beverages. We hope to see you at the Junee Show for a day of fun for the whole family!
