Plenty is happening around the Riverina this week, from the return of the River and Wren Market to the Italian festival and everything in between!

There are three new releases this week at Forum 6 – an American vigilante action thriller (The Equalizer 3), an American supernatural horror comedy (Haunted Mansion) and an Australian documentary (Ego: The Michael Gudinski Story).

Junee Athenium is having a free screening of 80 FOR BRADY.

Wagga RSL will feature live music from Michelle Robertson and Wobbly Boot in the Sportsbar this Friday and Saturday.

Head to Griffith to celebrate the Taste of Italy over the weekend.

Celebrate the best of Coolamon at the opening night of the Yield Festival.

Ego: The Michael Gudinski Story follows the wild ride of the maverick entrepreneur Michael Gudinski who defied convention and revolutionised the Australian music industry.

Griffith’s A Taste of Italy festival reaches its crescendo this weekend, highlighted by live music, authentic street food, a pop-up stall selling merchandise, a free tasting event and a fundraiser centred around the traditional Italian pastry, crostoli.

Cost: Donations welcome.

Head to Coolamon for the opening night of the Yield Festival’s Capture Coolamon Shire photo competition exhibition. The photographs have been taken by amateur photographers and professionals who have captured the wonderous beauty of Coolamon Shire.

Mama Mia – The Abba Tribute Show will be held at the Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre to support the Specialist Medical Resources Foundation, which provides specialist medical equipment to Wagga residents in need.

Held at the Wagga Wagga Showground six times a year, the River and Wren Market is a fantastic opportunity to find some brilliant handmade, homemade and homegrown goodies. With more than 100 traders, street food vendors, and fun for the kids, the River and Wren Market is an event lots of locals mark on their calendars.

The Griffith Rotary Market

The Griffith Rotary Market will be held every Sunday.

Head to the Rotary Sunday Markets at the Griffith Showground to get your hands on the Riverina’s freshest fruit and veg, eggs, chutneys, cakes and other homemade goodies.

There will be fresh coffee and bacon and eggs too!
