The most anticipated sci-film of the year is Dune: Part Two, starring Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya. It follows Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while seeking revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. In Combat Wombat Back 2 Back an evil genius threatens to turn the city into a metaverse simulation, leaving the Combat Wombat to save the day.

Where: Albury Botanic Gardens, Wodonga Place, Albury
Cost: Tickets are adult $15, concession $12, child (six-17yrs) $5, family (2x adult and 2x child) $35, 2-day pass (adult) $25, (concession) $20, under six free, and can be purchased at Ticketebo.

The annual Gardenesque celebration is back with special guest, Jamie Durie, at the Albury Botanic Gardens. Head down and meet gardeners from far and wide and check out the displays and workshops.

Wagga Wagga Road Runners – Saturday Runs

When: Saturday 2 March, 7:30 am
Where: Pomingalarna Reserve, Wagga
Cost: There will be a fee to pay for the monthly barbecue. Members $2 (individual) $3 (family) and non-members: $4 (individual) $5 (family).

Join the Wagga Wagga Road Runners club on their weekly run around Pomingalarna Reserve.

Downside Bush Dance

When: Saturday 2 March, 8 pm
Where: Downside Hall, Downside-Shepherds Siding Road, Downside
Cost: Cash only. Adults $5, children $3.

Head to Downside Hall, one of NSW’s best-preserved old-time community halls, for a night of bush dancing. The Downside Bush Dance has been running on the first Saturday of each month since the 1970s.
