A man will face court today (10 July) after being charged with murder following the death of a man in South Albury.
Emergency services were called to a car park on Wodonga Place at about 6:15 pm on Monday (8 July), and allegedly found a 30-year-old man with a stab wound to his chest.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene before he was taken to Albury Base Hospital; however, he later died.
Murray River Police District detectives established a crime scene and commenced investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Following inquiries, police arrested a 28-year-old man on Olive Street, Albury, at about 9:10 pm later the same day.
He was taken to Albury Police Station, where he was charged with murder.
He was refused bail to appear at Albury Local Court today (10 July).
