A man believed to be in his 30s has died following an alleged stabbing at a car park in South Albury.
Police said emergency services were called to a car park at Wodonga Place, South Albury, following reports of a stabbing at about 6:15 pm on Monday (8 July).
Officers attached to Murray River Police District attended and found a man with a stab wound to his chest. NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene before he was taken to Albury Base Hospital, where he died.
The man is yet to be formally identified.
Following inquiries, a 27-year-old man has been arrested and is assisting with inquiries.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
