Zoe Davis is on a mission to make fitness fun and engaging through a dance-inspired, choreographed exercise program.
Boogie Bounce aims to get people fit and help them lose weight through the use of a trampoline with a T-bar handle.
The Boogie Bounce and Clubbercise Wagga Wagga owner and instructor is bringing high-energy, low-impact workouts to the city for all ages and fitness levels.
“People assume that fitness can be a bit of a chore but keeping active is fun and something to look forward to,” says Zoe.
Zoe offers three classes: Boogie Bounce Bootcamp, Boogie Bounce and Clubbercise.
“Boogie Bounce Bootcamp uses explosive exercises that require energy quickly and will use the body’s stored energy known as anaerobic respiration,” explains Zoe. “Combining this with conventional exercises allows the body to utilise oxygen plus glucose, known as aerobic respiration, and you get the perfect recipe for maximum calorie burn.
“Dipping in and out of these energy systems has been scientifically proven as the most efficient weight loss tool and our Boogie Bounce sessions are designed to maximise this effect.
“Not only does this kind of workout burn massive amounts of calories, but the afterburn from this session can still eat calories up to three to 16 hours later.”
Clubbercise is a fresh new dance fitness class with easy-to-follow routines taught in a nightclub atmosphere with rave glow sticks and disco lights.
“Clubbercise feels more like a night out than a workout. Classes are set to a soundtrack of club anthems from 90s classics to the very latest hits – a mix of music genres including dance, house, rave, electro, hip-hop and R&B,” says Zoe.
“Clubbercise classes use pre-choreographed routines; the easy-to-follow steps are a fusion of dance, toning and combat moves with high/low impact options for all fitness levels.
“Clubbercise is so fun that it feels more like you’re going out dancing with your friends than it does a gruelling exercise regime.”
Zoe launched Boogie Bounce at the end of August 2023 after moving to Wagga with her family.
“We are a Defence family. My husband is a Senior Naval Officer at the RAAF base and we have a one-year-old and a four-year-old,” Zoe says.
“We moved around a lot with his work and arrived in Wagga in July last year.”
Boogie Bounce is the perfect way to kick-start your 2024 fitness journey and have a blast while doing it.
