Murrumbidgee Police have charged a 20-year-old man with a number of vehicle and property offences that allegedly occurred earlier this year.

In September, the suspect was arrested by officers from the Murrumbidgee Police District and charged with robbery whilst armed with a dangerous weapon.

As a result of this arrest, officers continued investigations into the man and will allege his involvement in several other property offences committed throughout August.

Officers made numerous attempts to locate the man before applying for an arrest warrant.

At 4:40 am on Tuesday, 11 November, the man surrendered himself to Griffith Police Station over his outstanding warrant.

Murrumbidgee Police investigators arrested the man in relation to the other offences and interviewed him regarding alleged property crimes.

The man was then charged with a total of 18 offences, including five counts of aggravated breaking and entering, five counts of stealing a motor vehicle and three counts of destroying a motor vehicle by fire.

He was initially refused bail by police and then appeared before Griffith Local Court, where was given strict bail conditions.
