Region Riverina and Wagga Wagga Marketplace are proud to showcase the ‘For the love of local’ Primary School Art Competition, aimed at showcasing the incredible talent of young artists in our local community. We believe in the power of local stories to connect and inspire our communities, and we hope that our competition will inspire young artists to continue exploring their creativity and sharing their unique stories with the region.
Cast your vote for People’s Choice!
People’s Choice will be awarded to the artwork that has received the most votes on the Region Riverina website. Share with your friends and family and get those votes!
One entry per person. Voting closes October 8th 2023.

Prizes
First place – $1000
Second place – $700
Third place – $350
People’s Choice Award – $1000.
The first, second and third-placed entries, and the People’s Choice-winning artwork will feature on the Region Riverina website and a feature article will be written about the school and artist/s.
Please note that the People’s Choice Award can be won by any of the submissions, including the first, second or third-place winners.
Finalists will be judged by a panel, where one submission will be chosen as the winner, one submission as runner up, one submission as third place and one submission announced as People’s Choice winner. The prize money is awarded to the school. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
