A man has been charged following a fatal boating incident in the Murray River last year.

Police said emergency services were called to Moama after a man was injured after falling into the Murray River at about 7:25 pm on 23 November 2024.

When Murray River Police District officers arrived at the scene they were told the man had allegedly fallen from a boat after the vessel suddenly stopped when a water skier it was towing fell in the water.
