It is the final weekend of the Griffith Citrus Sculpture Festival. Visit the city to marvel at the new additions — an elephant, a rainbow, and a tape measure.

Check out Print on Display, curated by Dr Thomas Middlemost from Charles Sturt University, which showcases Riverina printmakers’ exploration of the natural environment and climate.

After a late start to summer, it’s time to hit the pool, and the Lake Talbot Water Park in Narrandera Shire is the best place to do it.

Right next to the lake, you’ll find four swimming pools, terraced lawns, barbecues and, of course, the slides, including a high-speed ‘dual racer’ that allows for two people to slide at a time!

Griffith Citrus Sculptures

Where: Banna Avenue
Cost: Free.

Head to Griffith over the weekend to check out more than 60 creative and unique citrus sculptures on Banna Avenue, made from more than 100,000 locally grown oranges and grapefruits.

Cost: Adults $5, payable upon entry.

Yep, Christmas is looming large and the CMRI Christmas Fair is a chance to get a head start on shopping. It’s held at Wagga’s Murrumbidgee Turf Club where the fair goes for two days and boasts over 100 specialty market stalls from all over NSW. The fair has run over the past three decades and raises money for the Children’s Medical Research Institute.

Ten Riverina printmakers’ exploration of the natural environment and climate is now on display. Print on Display explores the themes of the natural environment and climate crisis while also paying homage to the history of printmaking and the essential feminine nurturing spirit needed to address the challenges facing both the planet and society.

We all love a country show and this weekend Junee is the place to be. The Junee Show has been going for more than 125 years and has something for everyone including rides, animals, pavilion exhibitions, showgirl events and sideshow alley attractions.
