Police are appealing for public information after a man suffered multiple stab wounds in the Riverina two months ago.
Strike Force Uibque was established in July following a stabbing in Albury.
Police said on 8 July, Murray River Police District officers were called to Lindsay Avenue, Albury, following reports a man had been stabbed at about 1 pm.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 31-year-old man at the scene for stab wounds to his leg and back before he was taken to Albury Base Hospital for treatment. The injuries were not life-threatening.
Murray River Police responded and established a crime scene and an investigation commenced.
Police believe this was a targeted attack.
Investigators are seeking the public’s help to identify four males allegedly involved who allegedly fled the scene in a grey Cupra Ateca.
