A man has been charged over the alleged supply of illicit drugs in the state’s Riverina region.

Following extensive inquiries, investigators from Strike Force Oltis converged on a home in Wagga Wagga at around 8:15 am (Thursday 12 May).

A 42-year-old man was arrested at the home and taken to Wagga Wagga Police Station, where he was charged with nine offences, including three counts of supplying prohibited drugs, five counts of taking part in supplying a prohibited drug and supplying prohibited drugs of an indictable quantity.

He was refused bail to appear in Wagga Wagga Local Court today.

Strike Force Oltis was established in January this year to investigate the supply of prohibited drugs, predominately methylamphetamine, in the Wagga area.
