20-year-old man dies after ute crashes into tree in Henty

A man has died after his ute crashed between Wagga and Albury on Thursday.

At about 10 pm on Thursday (5 June), emergency services were called to Back Henty Road, Henty, following reports of a single-vehicle crash.

On arrival, officers attached to Murray River Police District located a ute that had crashed into a tree.

The driver and sole occupant – a 20-year-old man – died at the scene.

A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the incident has been commenced.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
