A Yenda man will face court after it’s alleged he crashed into two parked vehicles and returned a high-range drink-driving reading.
Police allege the 35-year-old was driving a white Ford Ranger north along Dredge Street, Yenda, about 8 pm on Saturday (18 July) when the vehicle allegedly struck two parked cars.
Officers were called to the scene and allegedly conducted a roadside breath test, which returned a positive result.
The man was arrested and taken to Griffith Police Station, where he underwent a breath analysis. Police allege the test returned a reading of 0.159 – more than three times the legal limit and placing him in the high-range drink-driving category.
His driver’s licence was immediately suspended and he was issued a court attendance notice.
The man is due to appear before Griffith Local Court on 5 September 2026.
