A West Wyalong pub and two restaurants have copped fines for allegedly breaching the conditions of their trading licence over the weekend.
On Friday (12 December), Murrumbidgee Police District officers attended several licensed premises in the town.
At one location, they observed two male patrons leaving the premises carrying schooner glasses full of beer and walking them into another licensed venue.
This resulted in an $1100 fine for the former venue, which is licensed to serve alcohol on the condition that their clients drink the beverage inside their facility only.
At the same location, police observed poker machines in use after midnight, which was a breach of their licence conditions.
This also carries an $1100 fine for the venue.
At this same location, it was also identified that the approved manager was not present and had been overseas for several months.
This was a breach as a licensee must not operate for more than 28 days without an approved manager.
At another two licensed premises, both restaurants, police issued warnings for failing to display the signage as they are required to display as part of their condition to serve alcohol.
