Wagga Wagga City Council will be looking to keep the community busy this month by unveiling its annual FRESH program.
FRESH is a collection of activities that aims to bring people of different ages, backgrounds, cultures and walks of life together. Activities such as all-ability dance classes, concerts, music video filming and jewellery-making will all be available with the goal of bringing people together.
“Whether you’re young or young at heart, this year’s FRESH program has something for everyone, with a series of special events tailor-made for young people, families and older members of our community,” council’s community development officer Victoria Lowe said.
“The program is bursting with highlights ranging from a live music performance and book launch, an artist-led creative art workshop and more.
“The intergenerational program brings Gen Alpha, Millennials, Gen Y, Gen X, Baby Boomer and Silent Generation audiences together to exchange ideas and learn new skills to gain new perspectives and insights into the way they see the world.”
