A man and woman have died following a single-vehicle crash at Ladysmith, near Wagga Wagga, earlier today (16 December).
About 12 pm on Saturday emergency services were called to Keajura Road, Ladysmith, after a utility left the road and hit a tree.
The 40-year-old male driver and the passenger, a 38-year-old woman, died at the scene; they have yet to be formally identified.
Officers attached to Riverina Police District established a crime scene, which has been forensically examined.
An investigation has commenced into the circumstances surrounding the crash and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
Shortly after, at about 12:20 pm, emergency services were called to an unrelated incident on Moulder Street, Orange, following reports of a crash.
On arrival, officers attached to Central West Police District were told a white van had lost control at a roundabout before crashing into a parked black utility.
NSW Ambulance Paramedics attended and treated the driver of the van, however the 49-year-old man died at the scene. A male passenger was treated at the scene and taken to Orange Hospital in a stable condition.
Three occupants of the parked car suffered minor injuries and were taken to Orange Hospital in a stable condition.
