If you’re looking to let your hair down and get out with the community, the Leeton Pride Festival is back this week, celebrating diversity and resilience in the queer community alongside their allies through a three-day expression of joy and fun.

For a kids event full of fun and just a bit of mystery, the Temora Museum opens its doors after-hours this Friday with tours, yummy snacks and face painting.

For older kids (and their parents) looking to further their education, the Boarding Schools Expo comes to Griffith, bringing some of the best educational institutions from across the nation to one spot, giving parents and students an opportunity to weigh up their options for the next step in their lives.

Clarice Beckett’s paintings are some of the most original in Australian art, demonstrating a sensitivity to Australian colour, light and atmosphere. With an eye for the fleeting and the ephemeral, Beckett captured the essence of Australia’s coastal character, both suburban and wild.

This travelling exhibition comes all the way from the National Gallery and it is the first time this collection is on view. It is particularly special as the paintings have undergone extensive conservation work.
