Who are you and what is your business? We are Bruce Spinks and Joo-Yee Lieu and we produce extra virgin olive oil and table olives. We contract process olive fruit for the small olive grower and hobbyist in the district and do agro-tourism in conjunction with Wagga Visitor [Information] Centre.
Where did you begin? We were broadacre farming from Balranald and the millennium drought and two years without water shifted us to Wagga Wagga in 2009. We took over Wollundry Grove Olives in 2010.
What do you produce? Extra virgin olive oil and table olives.
What do you sell that makes a great gift? Quality products that are hand labelled, which show a lot of love and passion.
What would you make if you could do anything? Make global warming disappear, but if that is too hard, making it rain at the right time would be a good start.
Where can we buy your products? Local retail shops in Wagga Wagga and Riverina as well as Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne.
How would you promote the Riverina? A beautiful regional city which has the best of both city and country feel without the congested city traffic and chaos. An area with sweeping plains to the west and mountain passes to the east.
Coolest local thing you’ve ever bought? Locally brewed cool vanilla stout beer.
Where’s your favourite place for a cuppa? There are a few favourites but they all have Wollundry Grove olive oil used in their food menu.
Who is another local producer you admire? It has to be Thirsty Crow Brewery. Not only do they produce boutique beers, but they also get involved in community events and fundraising.

Region Riverina is committed to celebrating our local producers and creatives and encourages everyone to buy local.
