Police seized drugs, military ordnance, firearms and other prohibited weapons from a home in Leeton on Thursday (24 July).
At the start of this month, investigators attached to Murrumbidgee Police District commenced an investigation into firearms, prohibited drugs and prohibited weapons in the Leeton area.
Following extensive inquiries, a search warrant was executed at a home on Lansdowne Road, Leeton, about 8 am on Thursday.
During the search, police allegedly located methylamphetamine, pistols, military ordnance rounds, an extendable baton, a flick-knife, a trench knife, a slingshot and other associated items.

A 50-year-old man was arrested, taken to Leeton Police Station and charged with:
- Possessing a prohibited drug
- Possessing an unauthorised weapon – two counts
- Possessing a prohibited firearm – two counts
- Possessing an unregistered firearm – a pistol
- Possessing or using a prohibited weapon without a permit – five counts.
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Leeton Local Court on 9 September.
