Police have released CCTV footage as investigations continue into a serious assault in the region last month.
They said emergency services were called to a home in Annie Court, Moama, after reports a man had been seriously assaulted at about 6 am on 29 January.
Officers were told the 23-year-old male occupant was struck on the back of the head after answering the front door, and a mobile phone and purse containing a wallet and cash were stolen.
SW Ambulance paramedics treated the man for serious head injuries and took him to Echuca Hospital before he was airlifted to The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.
Officers attached to the Murray River Police District established a crime scene, and Strike Force Kinkuna was formed to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
As inquiries continue, police have released CCTV footage of two vehicles they are seeking to identify.
They would like to speak to the occupants of a black Ford Focus or an orange Toyota Corolla that travelled along Meininya Street, Moama, with no number plates into Echuca, Victoria, on 28 January.
