Police are appealing for information about a collision between a motorcycle and a truck on the Hume Highway.
A NSW Police spokesperson said they responded to reports a motorcycle had crashed into the back of a truck at approximately 4 pm on Tuesday (7 May) at Coolac, approximately 18 km north of Gundagai.
“NSW Ambulance responded and treated the rider – a 35-year-old man – for arm and internal injuries,” the spokesperson said.
“The rider was airlifted to Canberra hospital in a stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.”
“The driver of the truck – also a 35-year-old man – was uninjured. He was breath-tested at the scene and returned a negative result.”
Following the crash, a northbound lane of the Hume Highway was closed for a short time before being reopened.
