UPDATE: Wednesday 8 November 7:40 pm: A woman reported missing in the state’s safe has been located safe and well.
The 28-year-old woman was last seen at an address on White Avenue, Kooringal, at about 8:40 am today (8 November).
She was reported missing to officers attached to the Riverina Police District, who commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Following inquiries, the woman was located safe and well at Balranald at about 7pm.
Police would like to thank the community and the media for their assistance.
Wednesday 8 November 2:00 pm: Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing 28-year-old woman from Wagga Wagga.
Amelia Fitzgerald was last seen at an address on White Avenue, Kooringal, at about 8:40 am on Wednesday (8 November).
Amelia is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 165cm to 170cm tall, of medium build, and brown hair.
Police hold serious concerns for her welfare.
When she was unable to be contacted, officers attached to Riverina Police District were notified and started inquiries to locate her.
Amelia is known to frequent the Kooringal and Wagga Wagga areas and may be travelling around in a black MG hatchback.
