What a line-up of events! Wagga’s biggest week of racing, shows galore across the Riverina’s best theatres, a food fair, a roller disco and even a free trip to the tip!
Starting the weekend off strong is Wagga’s own prestigious racing carnival, the Wagga Gold Cup. Why not dress up, have a drink or two and bet on the horse with the coolest name. If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, there is still plenty to do on Friday night with Kildare’s ‘Back to the 80’s’ musical, Nerida Cuddy’s brilliant concert at the Curious Rabbit and Glow Roller Disco in Griffith.
Once the weekend hits, be sure to travel to Temora to check out all the great pieces from the Temora Art and Craft Group as they celebrate 50 years, or head to Narrandera for their International Food Fair.
If a laugh or two is what you’re after, Junee’s Athenium Theatre on Saturday night is the place for you as one of Australia’s most brilliant standup comedians comes to town.
There is plenty to see and do, so why not make the most of an action-packed weekend across the Riverina.
