There are three new releases this week at the cinemas – a true story (Gran Turismo), a supernatural horror (Dracula: The Last Voyage of the Demeter) and an action-comedy (Jailer).

Meanwhile, Wagga RSL will feature live music by Spellcheck Dup and Spaul St in the Sportsbar this Friday and Saturday.

Love having couch throws? Why not have a go at learning how to knit your own tonight at Marrar?

Jane Kellaway and her one-woman show The Mother’s Club will take the audience through the rollercoaster ride of being a mother.

Junee Athenium is having a free screening of The Super Mario Bros. Movie or go to Junee for the markets at the Ex-Services Memorial Club.

Check out comedian Ross Noble on his 21st solo standup tour Jibber Jabber Jamboree.

Singer-songwriter Fanny Lumsden will be peforming at Wagga Wagga Civic Theare this weekend for her Hay Dawn Tour.

Another big week at the cinemas with three new releases. Based on a true story, Gran Turismo revolves around a team of unlikely underdogs who risk it all to take on the most elite sport in the world. American supernatural horror Dracula: The Last Voyage of the Demeter is the adaption of ‘The Captain’s Log’, a chapter from Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel Dracula. The story follows a doomed crew of the merchant ship Demeter as they try to survive the treacherous ocean voyage while being stalked by Dracula the vampire. The Indian-Tamil action-comedy Jailer follows a strict yet compassionate prison guard who sets out to stop a gang from rescuing their leader from prison.

Also still screening at cinemas this week are Barbie, Talk To Me, Elemental, Meg 2: The Trench, The New Boy, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Oppenheimer and Insidious The Red Door.

Junee Athenium Theatre is inviting everyone to a free screening of The Super Mario Bros. Movie following American-Italian Brooklyn plumbers Mario and Luigi as they travel through an underground labyrinth to save the captured Princess Peach.
