Trap, directed by M. Night Shyamalan and starring Josh Hartnett, is about a father and his teen daughter who attend a pop concert but realise they are at a dark and sinister event.

Sleeping Dogs, starring Russell Crowe, follows an ex-homicide detective with memory loss who is forced to solve a brutal murder and discovers secrets from his forgotten past.

Starring Susan Sarandon, Bette Midler, Megan Mullally and Sheryl Lee Ralph, The Fabulous Four is about two friends who travel to be bridesmaids at the surprise wedding of their college girlfriend.

As part of the French Film Festival, check out the screenings of A Difficult Year, All Your Faces, and Ama Gloria.

When: Saturday 3 August, 2 am to 11 am and 5:30 pm to 7 pm
Where: Jindera Pioneer Museum, 116 Urana Street, Jindera
Cost: Various.

Celebrate Jindera’s German heritage at the Jindera Lantern Festival. The festival will feature paper lanterns created by children and adults, who will participate in a ‘’der Laternenumzug’’ procession and will be entertained with a presentation of St Martin’s story.

There will be German-themed food and drinks, along with musicians and storytellers for entertainment on the museum grounds.
